MacBook will not start or charge
USB-C Power Delivery, input circuits, power rails or control components may be affected.
DataDoc assesses Apple MacBook logic boards for boot, charging and liquid damage at component level. The repair objective and scope are separate from data recovery alone. Model-dependent MacBook battery replacement can also be requested separately, with an individual quotation after assessment.
Do not keep charging or switching on a MacBook after liquid ingress, excessive heating or repeated failed starts.
USB-C Power Delivery, input circuits, power rails or control components may be affected.
Display power, backlight, image signals and graphics or system circuits must be checked separately.
Corrosion and residue can cause short circuits and delayed secondary damage.
Thermal, electrical or signal faults require measurement under controlled conditions.
Input, charging circuitry and relevant voltage rails are measured systematically.
Components, corrosion, tracks and known circuit points are examined selectively.
Faulty components or connections are worked on and relevant device functions tested.
International shipments require prior case acceptance and agreement on transport costs and the return route. Damaged batteries need individual handover advice.
Yes, as a separate repair after checking the exact model, battery condition and replacement-part availability. A charging fault does not automatically mean a faulty battery: the power supply, connector or charging circuit may be responsible. You receive a separate quotation and decide before replacement. The logic-board price range is not a battery-replacement price. Do not keep charging a swollen battery, do not open the device and agree a safe handover with us before shipment.
State your objective when enquiring. Limited board repair may enable data access without permanently restoring every device function. Preserving relevant original components is particularly important for hardware-encrypted Mac storage. Scope, risks and prospects are clarified beforehand.
That depends on the fault and model. After diagnosis, you receive an economic assessment and fixed price.
Board-level repair generally aims to preserve the original board. Data preservation cannot be guaranteed in every case; explicitly identify critical data as a priority.
Yes. All previous repair attempts and missing components must be disclosed when registering the case.
Do not switch on or charge the device. Disconnect the power supply and report the case promptly.
