The appropriate method depends on data volume, protection needs and technical usability. The delivery route and any storage-medium costs are transparently documented in the fixed-price quotation before approval.
DataDoc does not choose the delivery method unilaterally. The specific option is offered for your case and confirmed through your order approval.
Suitable for manageable data volumes where secure digital delivery is technically appropriate.
Suitable for large data volumes, extensive folder structures or where physical delivery is the safer and more practical option.
Recovered data is prepared in a technically readable form and checked for usability on a sample basis. The technically recoverable data set remains decisive.
DataDoc uses only the delivery method specified in the quotation. Changes are agreed and documented before implementation.
For encrypted results, the storage medium or download and the decryption information are transmitted separately through organisationally distinct channels.
After receipt, check readability promptly and back up important contents onto at least one additional storage medium.
Working copies, raw images and provided recovery data are normally securely deleted 14 calendar days after confirmed handover, provision or dispatch. Any exceptions are agreed beforehand.
If a new USB drive, HDD or SSD is required, the specific article, capacity and gross price appear in the fixed-price quotation. Standard inbound shipping, secure return packaging and standard return shipping are included without a separate charge when the order is accepted and performed.
